This is an Idea i wanted to do after seeing the footage.
Ive travled to amsterdam 2 days and we took 2 evening to drive to the
Sea.
So i wanted to capture this unique moment because She had never been to the Sea / Coast bevor !

A story about a young man who has spend all of his life trying to be someone that would please those around him for as long as he can remember, so much so that he doesn’t even know who he is anymore. He knows one thing though he isn’t attracted to females. Sebastian has known this for quite a while but he always tried to deny it, hide it and then simply ignore it… Until one day he finally realized that he needs to put himself first. He left his girlfriend, his family, friends and his whole life behind and moved to Amsterdam where he now studies Philosophy and Dutch literature. He has decided that this will be a fresh start in his life a new chapter where he will meet new people, experience Amsterdam and all it has to offer and for the first time in his life be true to who he is.

Tony Slinger, a bespoke shoe maker spares his time to speak about his career history and the traditional methods used for producing some of Yorkshires finest leather shoes.

Tony is the last remaining bespoke shoe maker in all of Yorkshire, working with clients from all over the United Kingdom, sourcing his leather goods from J & FJ Baker and Co Ltd

Working with Tony was a fantastic experience and helped me greatly in developing my story telling skills for future projects. This film was produced as part of a 3rd year University module in which we were given the openness to produce anything that we wanted. I spent several months looking for contacts until Tony was generous enough to provide his time.

I hope that you enjoy the video and the story that Tony has to tell, thank you.

A short snippet of footage which is being used as part of my short film ‘Come as You Are’ which you find more about here: finalproject13.wordpress.com

Some of the footage that I filmed corrupted and I have got horrible dark horizontal lines running through it. I have spent hours in front of my mac trying to find a way to fix it but it simply did not work.

I did however managed to find another solution to one sequence that corrupted. It was a busy night street time lapse which I patiently filmed intending to speed it up. Once I sped it up by x3000 the horizontal lines almost blended in with the ambient lighting and the slight flickering that’s left well actually I kind of like it after all my film is heavily influenced by New Wave and Expressionism styles.
